Cyber Clean
Smart Registry & System Cleaner for Windows

A focused, no-bloat Windows registry cleaner built by the creator of FileConverter.run. Cyber Clean helps remove junk entries, keeps risky keys marked as Do Not Delete, and lets you see exactly what changed.

Current version: v1.0.0 Platform: Windows 10 / 11 License: Free to use

No ads. No bundled junk. Built by a small independent developer.

What Cyber Clean does

Cyber Clean is designed for a single job: help tidy up your Windows registry and related system junk without trying to “do everything” or install extra toolbars, ads, or bloat.

The tool focuses on entries that are typically safe to remove (like leftovers from uninstalled software and broken references) and clearly marks anything that looks risky as “Do Not Delete” so you can leave it alone.

  • Safe-first design: focuses on common junk and leaves dangerous keys alone.
  • Marks risky entries: suspicious registry keys are tagged “Do Not Delete”.
  • Restore-point aware: intended to be used only when a restore point exists.
  • Readable logs: see what was scanned and what was cleaned in plain English.
  • Small & focused: a single tool – no ads, no bundled software.
Good to know: you’re always in control. Cyber Clean is built so you can review findings before removing anything.

Safety, warnings & user agreement

Important safety notes

  • Create a restore point first. Before using any registry cleaner, you should have a recent System Restore point or full backup.
  • Review before cleaning. Don’t blindly remove everything. Cyber Clean is meant to highlight safe junk, but you are the final decision.
  • Windows warning dialog. Because this is from a small independent developer, Windows may show a “Windows protected your PC” message.
Disclaimer: Registry changes can affect how Windows and your apps behave. Always make sure you have a backup or restore point. If you’re not comfortable with this, do not use registry cleaners.

User agreement (summary)

By downloading and running Cyber Clean, you agree to the following:

  • The software is provided “as-is”, with no guarantees or warranties of any kind.
  • You understand that removing registry entries always carries some risk.
  • You agree that the developer is not responsible for any data loss, system issues, or other damages that may occur from using this tool.

A more detailed agreement can be included inside the app or in a text file alongside the download.

Tip: If you’re fixing a “laggy” system, start with simple steps too: uninstall unused programs, check startup apps, and run Windows’ built-in tools alongside Cyber Clean.

How to install & use Cyber Clean

Install & first run

  1. Download Cyber Clean.

  2. Handle the SmartScreen message.
If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”: click More infoRun anyway to start the program.
  3. Create or confirm a restore point.
Make sure you have a recent System Restore point. If Cyber Clean offers a restore-point check, use it before cleaning.
  4. Run a scan.
Press the Scan button in Cyber Clean to detect safe-to-remove junk entries.
  5. Review the results.
Only select items marked as Safe to clean. Leave anything marked Dangerous / Do Not Delete unchecked.
  6. Clean and reboot if needed.
Click Clean to remove selected entries. You may want to restart Windows afterwards.

Tips for best results

  • Use Cyber Clean occasionally, not constantly – it’s a maintenance tool.
  • Combine it with checking startup apps and uninstalling software you don’t use.
  • Keep notes of what you removed if you’re troubleshooting specific issues.
Having boot issues after cleaning?
Boot into Windows Recovery and use your last restore point. This is one of the main reasons the restore-point step is strongly recommended.

FAQ

Is Cyber Clean free to use?

Yes. Cyber Clean is currently free to download and use. If that changes in the future, this page will clearly state any pricing or license updates.

Why does Windows say it “protected my PC”?

That message appears because Cyber Clean is from a small independent developer and doesn’t have a big commercial certificate behind it. If you downloaded the file directly from FileConverter.run or the official GitHub release, you can click More info → Run anyway to launch it.

Can Cyber Clean guarantee my PC will never have issues?

No. No registry cleaner can make that promise. Cyber Clean is a helper tool and should be used along with good general PC maintenance habits and regular backups.

Where can I report bugs or suggest features?

You can open an issue on the GitHub repository at CyberLinkzero/FileConversion or contact me through the main FileConverter.run site.
